The vine leaves used for this product are chosen only from the top of the plant where the leaves are much more tender; all the production procedures are made by hand. The stems are removed and then the leaves are put in brine jars where the pasteurization process takes place. The whole process lasts only a few hours and this guarantees the correct maintenance of the leaves and preserves all the nutrients contained in the thin leaf of the vine.

VINE LEAVES HEALTH BENEFITS
The nutritional value of the vine leaves is very high. Like all leafy vegetables, they have few calories, about 93 per 100 grams of vine leaves, and are a good source of vitamins (especially A), rich in fibers, antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids.
The vine leaves of the "Barba Yianni Estate" are ready to use and do not need any further cooking. Each jar contains about 60 leaves.
