Aspic or pork jelly (Pihti in Greek) is probably the most unique and impressive meat product of Greece. It's a savoury gelatin made by meat broth and set in a mold. Then, pieces of 100% boiled pork shoulder, carrots, peas and garlic are added to create essentially a soup in a gelatinous version! You can use Pork jelly as a garnish for your meat dishes but mostly as a delicious and eye-catching appetizer for your gatherings with friends and family.
Tip: You can chop the pork jelly in pieces and serve it with some pesto with olive oil on the side, for an alternative and tasty pairing!
Pork meat 86%, Garlic, gelatin, salt, pepper, vinegar, carrot, peas.
